I have stayed in Airbnb homes for many years, but MariaRita's apartment in Rome surprised me because it stands out far beyond expectations. It completely exceeds expectations.
She is a true Superhost! Her home is located in a great neighborhood of the city where walking, eating, and shopping is very easy, as it is a residential area very close to the Vatican, its museums, Castel Sant Angelo, Piazza del pueblo, the Spanish Steps... everything you need to see in Rome is within walking distance from there or with the many transportation options. There are great restaurants of all kinds and for all budgets. We ate fantastically and at very fair prices.
But the best thing is the apartment. Three very spacious rooms and two bathrooms in which the 5 of us enjoyed because of the giant atmosphere. Very comfortable beds. Elegant furnishings. And everything was very clean ! MariaRita was always attentive to ask us if we needed anything else. We were welcomed with a bottle of white wine and items to be able to cook (oil, salt , coffee, sugar, etc. ) the first night. Fantastic ! A fantastic apartment for a week in Rome that was memorable !!! Highly recommended.

Mariarita was also extremely hospitable, kind and considerate when she welcomed us late. She answered questions about the nearest grocery store and restaurant with a couple of blocks. She helped us with a detailed route from the train station. She left a free bottle of delicious wine and the apartment was in sight. Every extra need was met, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Beds comfortable and mostly enough, except for a siren or two that you hear in any city. The location is within walking distance of the Vatican and close to many other major cities with a short cab, walk or metro ride. If you are staying in Rome, we VIVELY recommend his apartment.

Beautiful and spacious three-bedroom apartment located near the Vatican. Very thoughtful touches throughout the apartment: tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pasta, a bottle of wine and more. Mariarita and her son Michele were very gracious hosts and waited for us after midnight when our flight was delayed. The wifi was reliable, but it did not reach the third bedroom, which was not a big problem. I liked having a washing machine for clothes and a rack to hang outside to dry. The building was well-maintained and quiet. Close to a market, pharmacies, restaurants and other stores. I highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay there again!
